The numbers on each sheet are published ranges from veterinary sources, and where sources disagree we show each one. Every animal is different, so check temperatures with a digital thermometer and ask a veterinarian who treats reptiles about your pet. These sheets are general information, not veterinary advice.
Find the Right Feeder Size
A simple rule: feed prey no bigger than the space between your pet's eyes. Try the reptile feeding calculator for amounts. Banded crickets are naturally resistant to the cricket virus that wiped out many house-cricket farms, and ours are virus-free and parasite-free. We use a special high-quality cricket feed and have a state-of-the-art watering system.

Carolina Cricket Farm writes them from published veterinary care guidance (PetMD, VCA Animal Hospitals, LafeberVet and vet clinics), cited on each sheet. They aren't a substitute for a veterinarian.
What size crickets should I buy for my pet?
A simple rule: prey no bigger than the space between your pet's eyes. Each care sheet has a size table and a feeding chart with the banded cricket and Dubia sizes we suggest for each age.
Do you ship feeders to my state?
We ship live crickets by UPS Ground or UPS 1-2 Day to the lower 48 states. Dubia roaches can't ship to Florida.
